Sunday, July 3rd: From Sidney, MT to Williston, ND or ... Am I Seaman?

Wonderful weather today! And an easy ride for my boss. 

We started out in the valley next to the Yellowstone river -  the wind to our side. Very soon we crossed from Montana into North Dakota.

My boss cycled with Melanie, another newbie who joined us in Fargo. Both humans seem to have the same pace of cycling. 

In their imagination they were Lewis and Clark, which makes me ... Seaman. They were out on their own expedition. 

They also paid a visit to Fort Union - an act which reached the local press. 

All in all, it was a rather short trip, giving my woman the chance to search for a hairdresser (no success). Instead she found some DMC yarn which she could use for cross stitching. 

Dinner in El Rancho was great.
