Saturday, July 2nd: Sidney, MT or ... a long drive through North Dakota

The Select Inn was a good place to sleep.

A taxi took us to the airport again, where we met CA-staff Dallas. There was just one other person joining... who wants to cycle through North Dakota anyways?

It was a very long drive ... Luckily we stopted at a Dairy Queen  and a gas station.

We drove through a scenic part of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Too bad our cycling route will not take us through there!

I suppose the staff was paying too much attention to the scenery too, because a police car signed us to go to the side of the road. We got a speeding ticket! We weren't really going that fast, though...

With 16 staff members and 43 "left-overs" or C2C my woman will have a challenge to learn the names.

At the meeting that evening she had to present herself to the whole group... one of her favourite things to do! Once that was done, Greg (the tour leader) took the 4 new ones into the hallway to explain the routine of Cycle America. My boss her eyelids were getting very heavy - jetlag was already settling in.

My boss found us a good place in the gym where we could go to sleep.
